Screel in Claude

The Screel connector for Claude turns Claude into a video workspace: plan a storyboard, structure scenes, attach images you already have, and render the result into a finished video — with visual widgets for storyboards, jobs and the final player right in the conversation.

Connect your account

Section titled “Connect your account”
  1. In Claude, open Settings → Connectors and add Screel (or add it as a custom connector with the URL below).
  2. Click Connect — a Screel sign-in window opens.
  3. Sign in, or create a Screel account on the spot.
  4. Approve the requested access and return to Claude. The link stays active until you disconnect it.

Screel asks for two permissions:

  • View your projects and videos (screel.read)
  • Create content on your behalf (screel.generate) — creating and editing projects and scenes, attaching images, and rendering. Rendering spends credits from your Screel account.

What you can do

The Claude connector focuses on managing and assembling your videos:

  • Build storyboards — create projects, write scene scripts in one pass, reorder, rewrite, duplicate or delete scenes.
  • Attach images — point a scene at any public image URL and Screel stores it as that scene’s still, free of charge. Restore a previous version of a scene at any time.
  • Track work — check job progress, browse a project’s renders, and review your account’s credits and storage.
  • Render — compose the project’s existing scenes, clips and audio into a finished MP4 or WebM, and play it right in the chat.

AI media generation (scene images, animation, voiceover, music) isn’t part of this connector — generate that content in the Screel web app or attach images you already have; everything stays in the same projects.

Disconnecting

Remove the connector in Claude’s Settings → Connectors at any time; this revokes its access to your Screel account. Your projects and videos remain in your account at screel.ai.
